The city of Derby is located in the county of Derbyshire in the East Midlands region of England. Derby town has an approximate population of 249,000 residents. The city of Derby is considered to be the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution and is the home to the aero-engine manufacturer, Rolls-Royce.
