Liverpool is a city located in Merseyside, England. It currently has an estimated population of over 460,000 residents in the city. The education in Liverpool is compulsory for children up to the age of 16 and follows the British educational system and is divided into three levels: Primary School, Secondary Schools and Higher Education. Liverpool Hope University was established in 1844 as a Teacher Training College and now has over 7,000 students attending each year.
