Dunedin is the principal city in the Otago Region and is the second largest city in the south island. The population of Dunedin is around 240,000 people. Dunedin’s largest industry is tertiary education and is home to the University of Otago and Otago Polytechnic. The University of Otago is New Zealand’s oldest university and has over 21,000 students enrolling each year. The University of Otago opened in July 1871. The University offers a wider range of courses than other Universities so it attracts a lot more students. The University is divided into 4 main divisions which are; Division of Humanities, Health Sciences, Sciences and Business. The University is one of only two Universities in New Zealand that offer a degree in Dentistry. The University has campuses in Auckland and Wellington and the medical schools have a campus in Christchurch. The University also makes use of the Portobello Marine Laboratory in Otago Harbour. The University produced many notable people such as, John Carew Eccles who received a Noble Prize for his work on the brain and Robert Stout who became the Prime Minister of New Zealand. The Otago Polytechnic has around 4000 students either studying full or part time. The Otago Polytechnic was established in 1889. In 1966 the original school split into a secondary school and Otago Polytechnic which opened in 1966. There are campuses in Dunedin, Otago and Auckland. The Dunedin campus houses the schools of Architecture, Building and Engineering and natural sciences.

Yes, all our Agile courses are accredited by APMG International, who created AgilePM® alongside the Agile Business Consortium. We are an APMG ATO (Accredited Training Organisation).
The AgilePM® Foundation training course does not have any prerequisites and is suitable for anybody in, or who has an interest in, project management, from project management students all the way to Executives and Senior Managers. This course can benefit anybody looking to implement an Agile methodology into their projects.
It is recommended to spend 2-5 hours on pre-course work material prior to the course. The Agile Project Management Foundation course last 3 days. There will also be homework assigned during the course.
Our accredited Agile Foundation course and training is in place to thoroughly prepare you for the examination. However, if you fail the Agile Foundation examination, you can rebook the exam. We advise leaving adequate time before the retake, to ensure that you are fully prepared to retake the exam. AMPG have authorised public exam sessions on their website, where you are able to re-take exams at your own leisure. Please contact one of our advisors if you require any further information.
Once you have gained your Foundation AgilePM® qualification, it is advisable to begin your AgilePm® Practitioner qualification. This course is designed to cement your Agile knowledge and allow you to be able to successfully implement these principles into all aspects of your projects.
We recommend the official Agile Project Management Handbook v2.0, which is published by the DSDM Consortium and designed to complement the Foundation and Practitioner training courses. The book also works beyond training as a general resource on the Agile Project Management methodology and how it works, making it a useful reference tool for anybody using or looking to use AgilePM® practices in their day-to-day career.
