2) Take two circular-shaped sandwich tins with butter or greaseproof paper
3) Now, put all the above-mentioned Cake ingredients into a large bowl (175g of unsalted butter, 175g of caster sugar, three large beaten eggs, 175g self-rising flour, one tablespoon of baking powder, one and a half tablespoon of coffee dissolved in one tablespoon of hot water and 60g hazelnuts)

6) Bake the batter for 30-35 minutes until you get spongy and soft bread. To ensure whether the batter is fully baked or not, skew the end of the spoon towards its centre
7) Once you ensure that everything is perfect, remove the base from the oven
8) Leave the resulting cake to cool in the tins for about 10 minutes before letting it out of the tin
Preparations for Buttercream
Now that you have set the base of the cake keep it aside for cooling down. Now, it's time to prepare the buttercream. You can follow these steps for a creamy and flavourful buttercream recipe:
1) Take two tablespoons of coffee powder and mix it with one and a half tablespoons of hot boiling water
