What is M_o_R4 Practitioner Certification? 

The M_o_R4 Practitioner Certification is a new addition to the M_o_R® Practitioner Risk Management Certifications. This recent addition replaces the M_o_R Foundation and earlier versions of Practitioner Certifications and deep diving into the Management of Risk principles.

Therefore, the candidates seeking to build a strong career in Risk Management can be out of deep water. They will have to pass the Practitioner exam and obtain M_o_R4 Certification.

What is the purpose of M_o_R4 Practitioner Certification? 

The 4th Edition of Practitioner Certification allows individuals to showcase their understanding of the fundamentals of Risk Management.  

The certification enables candidates to understand the working of M_O_R. It further allows them to demonstrate their ability to apply and tailor M_o_R® 4 across various practical contexts. Obtaining a M_o_R4 Certification means that the individual can use a M_o_R4-based Risk Management approach to mitigate organisational challenge due to management of Risk and protect its value.

The M_o_R4 Practitioner Certification is beneficial for the following individuals:

Pre-requisites for the Certification 

The Foundation and the 3rd Edition of M_o_R Certifications have been removed from the list. This means there are no prerequisites for the 4th Edition of the Practitioner Certificate examination as opposed to previous certification requirements. However, along with obtaining a certification, M_o_R4 Practitioner Training is recommended. It is an 18 hours and three days training that includes appearing for the examination.  

Examination format 

The new M_o_R Practitioner Certification examination comprises the following format:

 Duration of the examination 

2 hours and 15 minutes 

 Types of questions 

Multiple-choice type questions 

 Total Marks 

65 marks 

 Passing marks 

33 out of 65 marks are required to pass the examination 

 Type of exam 

It is an open-book examination 

The candidates can only carry The Management of Risk: Creating and Protecting Value (M_o_R® 4) publication during the examination. 

M_O_R4 Practitioner Certification renewal 

Just obtaining the Practitioner Certification does not end the quest. The 4th Edition of M_o_R Practitioner Certification requires renewal after every three years. It ensures the candidate is still legally allowed to practice as a Risk Management Professional.
