The Knowledge Pass

The Knowledge Academy is in year 2 of a 3-year rolling contract, where PRINCE2 training is delivered for 60 Masters students in Management each Summer as part of their degree. The fact that The Knowledge Academy is trusted as a supplier of PRINCE2 training to those paying for Masters degrees is proof in itself that we are a respected and established supplier. More importantly, it is proof of the substantial benefits of the course that it is considered an essential part of the training of Masters students, and that City University of London should continue to procure large numbers of courses year upon year.

In addition to PRINCE2 training, The Knowledge Academy has also provided training for Business Analysis Diplomas and Agile training to the university.

Feedback from an onsite project management course indicated that while all delegates successfully passed the exam, some felt that they didn’t take as many real-life examples from the course as they would have hoped, and therefore struggled to work the methodology into their day to day role.

Based on this feedback, The Knowledge Academy arranged for a trainer phone call prior to the next planned session, to strike the right balance between exam preparation and real-world implementation of the course. This proved hugely successful, and this process has continued for all sessions. The improvements have been visible in the quantitative feedback from the course. Course satisfaction was high, and no delegates have come back to The Knowledge Academy for exam resits (which we provide free of charge). The University of St Andrews has continued to purchase from The Knowledge Academy since 2014, not only because of the quality of the training itself, but also because of the positive impact on their business that they report as a result of these project management courses.
