APMP Training FAQs

Yes, all our APM courses are accredited by APM, the Association for Project Management.
Mileage for individual study varies, but our APM PMQ courses last 5 days, and our APM PFQ courses last 3 days.
There are number of options available after studying for the APM Project Management Qualification. With more project management experience, you could go on to study PMP®, the gold standard in project management certification. Or to learn more about a popular framework, you could study PRINCE2®, the UK public sector’s project management methodology of choice. APM PMQ also opens up a route to further APM study, such as APM Professional Qualification (PPQ), or APM Practitioner Qualification (PQ). With a minimum of 7 years’ experience, you could also apply to register as an APM Registered Project Professional, which recognises skills in leadership.
APM qualifications are earned through the sitting of exams. APM PFQ is assessed by a 60-question, multiple-choice exam, while the exam for APM PMQ is three hours, with multiple question formats. A shorter version of the exam is available for registered PRINCE2 Practitioners which lasts two hours and has fewer questions. As an APM Accredited Provider, our APM courses include the exams in the course fee.
If someone does not pass their PMQ course, they can typically retake the exam by registering again through accredited training providers. It's an opportunity to review areas of weakness and prepare more effectively for the retake.
Following completion of the APMP certification, consider pursuing advanced certifications such as PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP (Project Management Professional), or PgMP (Program Management Professional) to further advance your project management career.
PMQ (Project Management Qualification) is intended for individuals involved in project management roles, including project managers, team leaders, project coordinators, and anyone seeking to enhance their project management skills and knowledge.
We recommend the APM Project Management Qualification Study Guide, which has been specially created by APM to help delegates pass the exam and learn how to manage projects effectively.
